Welzo will have a dedicated facility for Formulation and Development. It will help to develop different formulations in different dosage forms like Tablets, Capsules, Granules, Syrup, Powders etc. Welzo will help in developing the best suitable formulations for a particular drug with best pharmaco- kinetic profile and efficacy. Also, it will help the manufacturers to develop better formulation for products being already marketed. All the formulations will be developed first at laboratory scale then it will be scaled up in pilot plant. After that the formulation and its technology will be transferred to the manufacturing unit.

Nowadays, many drugs are being developed as novel drug delivery systems (NDDS) which have far better pharmaco- kinetics and efficacy profile than the conventional formulations. Welzo will work on developing such NDDS for new as well as existing pharmaceutical products and will do tech transfer to the interested manufacturers. Apart from the conventional dosage forms like tablets, capsules, syrups, granules etc. Welzo will focus on development of other dosage forms viz. Effervescent tablets, Mouth Melt Powders, Softgel Capsules, Gummies etc.
